The company also partners with the South Sudan National Bureau of Standards (SSNBS) to
support the implementation of Pre-Export Verification of Conformity (PVOC) requirements for goods exported from Europe, Middle East and Asia to South Sudan. Under this program, applicable goods destined for South Sudan must undergo the required conformity assessment, inspection, testing, verification, and certification procedures before shipment and entry into the country, in accordance with SSNBS requirements.
In addition, Modern Energy Ltd is a leading local manufacturer of high-quality prestressed concrete electricity poles and reinforced concrete culverts, operating from a 40,000-square-meter production facility in Luri, Juba, South Sudan. Its products are engineered to meet the demands of power transmission and distribution networks, road construction, drainage systems, telecommunications infrastructure, urban development, and other major public and private sector projects.
